I’m a mom of four beautiful crazies, in love with my best friend (who also happens to have been my first kiss in 5th grade!), and a proud dog mom to our Shepherd. I’m happiest in our little mountain town, exploring Lake Tahoe, or bringing my creative side to life in the studio.
Photography started as a hobby over 10 years ago and quickly became something I completely fell in love with. After spending nearly 15 years in healthcare, I decided it was time to follow my heart and turn my passion into something more. Cassy Stone Imagery is now going on 3 years, and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
With over 14 years behind the camera and 3 years as a professional photographer, I bring experience, creativity, and a whole lot of heart into every session. From building memories with your family, to capturing intimate moments with the love of your life, to celebrating yourself just as you are—I’m here to tell your story in a way that feels real, beautiful, and uniquely yours.

This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
Don’t worry—you don’t need any experience! I’ll guide you every step of the way, from helping with outfits and location ideas to posing and prompts during your session. My goal is to make you feel comfortable, relaxed, and confident in front of the camera. We’ll have fun, go with the flow, and capture genuine moments along the way. Just come as you are and leave the rest to me!
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
Yes! Travel is included for locations within 35 miles of Pollock Pines, CA. For locations outside of that radius, a $15 travel fee will be added for every additional 30 miles of travel. Travel fees will always be discussed before booking so there are no surprises!
How long does it take to get our photos?
Your photos will typically be delivered within 2–6 weeks, depending on the time of year and current booking volume. Every image is carefully edited by hand with no AI editing, ensuring your gallery receives the time and attention it deserves. Weddings and larger galleries may take up to 8 weeks for delivery.
Can you recommend any good locations?
Absolutely! I’m always happy to recommend locations based on the type of session, season, and overall vibe you’re looking for. From beautiful mountain views and beaches to open fields, rivers, forests, and creative studio spaces, I have plenty of favorite locations to share.
What should I wear to my session?
Don’t worry—I’ve got you! With every booking, I’ll email you my style guide filled with helpful tips, outfit ideas, color palettes, and suggestions to help you and your family feel confident and look your best for your session. I’m also always happy to help you choose outfits or answer any styling questions along the way!
